Emeralds were first found in southeastern Yukon in 1998 near the town of Ross River on what was known as Regal Ridge. True North Gems, a junior mining company based in Vancouver, BC, conducted exploration from 2001 through 2007 and named this discovery the Tsa da Glizsa deposit. Unfortunately the emerald deposit at Tsa da Glizsa was found to be uneconomic. The emeralds offered for sale on this website were cut during True North's active exploration program. It is very unlikely that additional emeralds from Tsa da Glizsa will become available in the future

Emeralds from Tsa da Glizsa range from transparent to opaque and many required treatment with epoxy resins (as is common with most emerald). I am thrilled to be able offer for sale these gems from one of my favorite places, Yukon Territory.
